To every single person that has supported the FBU we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The vision is big, it is bold and it is unapologetic, and in every move we make with this work, we will continue to hold this energy and power.

Here are our plans for 2021:

Time to do the big work to make this a space and a venture that will last. There's a lot of admin and legal and finance infrastructure to handle as well as visioning and imagining that needs to happen. So excited for what will come. This groundwork is very necessary.

Love up on your community.
Thank you for your continued support.

What we want to create is something that really creates deep, systemic, and transformative change. In that process we will go through transformations within ourselves.

We need to give the right amount of time and space for this birthing process to ensure the firmest and most radical roots are set down for our organisation. Our pages will stay open, but we will not be posting. You’ll be able to donate to our gofundme if you so wish.

As we continue to struggle towards creating new worlds, we hope you can continue supporting our mission even during our period of quiet and capacity building. We will relaunch the FBU on the otherside, that is only possible due to your support thus far.

During this time of quiet we will be focusing on:
strategy,
restructuring,
securing long-term funding,
our governance structure,
our legal requirements and employment.

The money raised thus far will support us in meeting the costs of this work as well as some exciting projects and campaigns that we are planning.
