@JohnCleese Google saying you are both 1.96m (whatever that is) Is that accurate?
No, I'm 1.93
That's 6 foot four and a half inches- the height I was when I was 14 !!
It was hard to fade into the background...
Deciding on a new look. Which do you prefer? Photos by the lovely @pal_hansen

I think it's more interesting not knowing than having answers which might be wrong
Replying to @ProfFeynman: • Stupidity:
You think you know everything, without questioning.
• Intelligence:
You question everything you think you…

@JohnCleese That's a very philosophical view. "What if life is just an illusion" (imagine French accent). There are some things we know are way more likely to happen than others. Neighbours putting up trade barriers? Not good. That's not certain, but then what is?
Remember that the EU can be viewed as a protectionist unit itself
Also, EU bureaucrats may want Brexit to fail, but its citizens simply want to be able to do business
I think this will become more obvious soon
I may be wrong !

@JohnCleese More importantly. Who would win in a fight between @JohnCleese and @stephenfry. Think Stephen has a bit of size on John but John has the reach with those extremely long legs.
He's ahead 17-14
We can make a guess based on the information we have at one moment, but we must not treat our guess as a certainty
We must stay open to revising it in the light of feedback
People wanting to be 'right' are the problem, since they ignore contradictory feedback
That's science
A Dr Will Mitchell has emailed me, asking whether I sleep on my back or my side. He says one of these could be a warning sign for the onset of early dementia
An even stronger predictor of early dementia is the act of replying to rubbish like this
I made a silly mistake when recommending Bruce Greyson's new book on the Afterlife
It's called 'After'
Not 'Aware'
'After'
It's particularly interesting to anyone who may eventually die

Let's make polluters pay, to reduce air pollution and help fund hospitals. Please retweet and sign the petition at
Replying to @stephenfry: It really is time: a pollution tax makes such enormous sense. Do watch this, retweet and sign the petition! https://t.co/yq…

I'm on a conference call! A Heineken advert I did as Q cross promoting our Bond film Die Another Day.

Some #fawltyfanart from some talented people! Have a lovely weekend my friends. @caroldrawstuff @catherine_rosa_13 @annaderoo.illustrations @Somepeople.art #fawltytowers
For those of my Twits who have a passing interest in whether there is life after death, may I recommend "Aware" by Bruce Greyson, coming out on March 2nd
It's a book, not a video game, I'm afraid

Mitch McConnell said that Donald Trump was responsible for the deadly insurrection to overthrow the US Government and if he was the Republican nominee for President in 2024, he’d support him. The GOP is fucked.
Maybe they could organise some rallies where pyschiatrists could speak ?

Remembering George Harrison, born today in 1943. Not only the best Beatle, but also one of the great heroes of British cinema: as the founder of HandMade Films, he produced Life of Brian, The Long Good Friday, Time Bandits, A Private Function, Mona Lisa and Withnail & I.
A lovely, lovely man, and a great musician
Pythons are forever indebted to him, for, without his support and money, 'The Life of Brian' would never have been made
Quoted @RBReich
When I graduated college in 1968, the typical corporate CEO got 20 times the pay of the average worker.
When I became labor secretary in 1993, the ratio was 61-to-1.
Today, the ratio is 320-to-1.
Capitalism is off the rails.
Off the rails is the only description
