IFRC helps communities adapt to a changing climate. Every year, small and medium sized disasters occur in silence – leaving communities around the world struggling to access the financial support they need to adapt and recover. 👉 #AdaptationSummit
Here's what we do to prevent and respond to the impacts of the climate crisis #AdaptationSummit 👇
Consequences of the climate crisis:
🌧️ Changed rain patterns
🌪️ More extreme weather
🌊 Rising sea levels
🥵 Rising temperatures
#AdaptationSummit
Now is the time for action, not words. We must continue to move beyond traditional top-down humanitarian support and direct as much funding as possible – and as directly as possible - to community-based actors. #AdaptationSummit
