Boris Johnson says situation is "temporary" and fishing businesses will be compensated

If the product you are importing from the EU into the UK wasn't completely made in the EU, or subject to a large amount of processing in the EU, then there is a big chance it doesn't qualify for tariff-free trade.

That line from Chris Whitty is worrying. Some restrictions may be needed next winter, you wonder what situation the UK will be in by then.

One again, Laca proves why he has to start as the striker. Smith Rowe was absolutely brilliant tonight. Confidence seems to be pouring through the team. #WBAARS

"I really am sorry, from the bottom of my heart. But if the price we pay is 590 deaths a day then this in unacceptable."

German Chancellor Angela Merkel begs Germans to follow coronavirus restrictions in an unusually emotional appeal ahead of Christmas.

Notable address from Merkel, who addresses something explicitly which we’re not talking about much in the UK: the idea to reduce contacts as much as possible before Christmas week, before, as she says “we see Grandma and Grandpa.”

Dangerous and is going to cause a serious injury. In basketball, this is a serious foul and I don't know how Kane is allowed to get away with doing this. #THFCvAFC

How many times is Kane going to get away with doing that. He's gonna cause a serious injury one day. #TOTARS
