"You got character! You got something to you!"
Indiana Football's head coach Tom Allen's stirring post-game speech after coming up short against the Ohio State Buckeyes went viral, as he expressed his pride in the team—win or lose.
@ABC Seriously, nice gesture from the coach. I played football in HS on a very talented team. (Not me, but I tried)We went 7-1. After that loss, the coaches literally screamed at us for the entire week. Tortured us in practice too. We hated them forever.
@RedHoodedRants @ABC I agree. I didn't think it was a good speech either. It sounded flowery. Maybe for a teen girls ball team. I also thought the yelling didn't match up with his speech. Maybe he should have gave the speech while sobbing. Just would have been more convincing.
@ABC Glad they’re all taking precautions against virus spread.
@ABC As a Penn State fan listening to the Indiana coach’ fiery post game speech,
I now understand why Indiana beat us -and almost beat Ohio State.
@ABC Really doesn’t seem like a good speech. I think the camera angle and the fact he is seething makes it seem special but it’s not that inspiring at all.
@ABC This is what a Leader looks like America. Win or Lose. Character Is Important.
@ABC Sen. David Perdue’s (R-GA) use of a subcommittee appointment for stock market gains is “flagrant corruption.” It is “common sense” to prevent senators from trading individual stock to ensure “officials serve us, we who elect them and pay their salaries, and not themselves.”
